Transportation Mapping
Students will draw and design a new sustainability focused transportation system map for their respective communities.

- Having students explore the engineering design process and the ADST curriculum as well as applied skills such as drafting
- Learn some basics of sustainable urban transportation planning

Drafting
- Technical drawing, including sketching techniques and manual drafting techniques
- Elements of plans and drawings
- Simple computer-aided drafting programs
Materials
- Regular sized paper for each person
- If done in larger groups, A3 or A2 larger sized paper can be used in a group
- Coloured pencils and markers may be useful for the drawing phase
- Computer device for each student/group
- or printed maps of various cities
