Students work together to design and create protein models that could replace defective proteins in someone’s body.

There are many types of proteins but we will take a look at 3:
- Structural Proteins: strengthen cells, tissues, organs, and more.
- Transport Proteins: move molecules and nutrients around the body and in & out of cells.
- Defense Proteins: fight infection, heal damaged tissue and evade predators.
